They are already considered as one of the biggest player of the mobile commerce as they have crossed a soothing $600 million Gross merchandise Volume by the end of year 2009.

Many of the social sites such as Facebook and Twitter play a great role in connecting different people and providing a platform for open discussion between them. We are well versed with their success and this has lead to a development of new type of search i.e. Social search. Keeping this fact into consideration eBay had done well to release its new application which integrates social networking sites.

This Android application is the latest addition to eBay’s mobile offerings. It enables the consumers to browse eBay.com on any mobile phone equipped with a Web browser and buy from their without leaving the application. Their applications are made available for free via the App Store in 8 languages and in 77 countries. With the help of this newly launched Application the consumers can make voice search, advanced search and many new features such as buyer alerts, feedback and PayPal integration are added to its credit. By Feedback they can share and rate their eBay experience for items bought and sold. Even speech to text voice search is also enabled in it. One of the best features of these apps is that the users are not forced to type for search which is one of the annoying thing while to make any search, but now they can even use the microphone button near the search bar and say what they are searching for. The application will, then automatically, search for that item. Thus these time eBay has done well to fulfill all the requirement of iPhone users by launching this new Android application.
