Apple’s iPhone gets half of the smart phone web traffic

Apple’s iPhone has attracted almost 50 percentage of the world’s online mobile traffic share. They have also been able to capture 55 percent of the United States online market within 28 months of their first launch. According to some sources 13 million iPhones have been sold so far in United States. More than 1 million iPhones also have been sold in other countries like Germany, France and UK. On the other hand Android have captured almost 5% of the worldwide mobile operating systems and beat Windows Mobile.

Symbian OS has almost no presence in US among the smart phones. This season Apple and Google is shining and Nokia is continuing to slide in the smart phones. The iPhone 3G launched in 2008 dramatically increased the market share of iPhone in mobile market. In future the experts are expecting more advancement from android and iPhone market share of smart phones. Lets check out what is going to happen in 2010 mobile market.
